The well known adage that a picture is worth a thousand words may be truest when they are food photography. I’ve decided that the best way to begin this sortie into area dining is with pictures of food from the restauranteurs and chefs whose cooking continues the award winning legacy they’ve been left and in many cases exceeded — Scott Crawford and Ashley Christiansen.
Two Nights in Another Town – Visits to Crawford and Son and Jolie
Crawford and Son had been on my list of top restaurants to try since it’s opening but with Jolie opening as its neighbor made it a staycation destination. Jolie was almost always booked during its first nine months but i gambled on hitting up both in December 2020 just before Covid.
