Leo’s, a Greek Restaurant https://openorangenc.org/buildings/423-w-franklin-st. After Leo’s closed its doors Darbar an Indian Restaurant which was ultimately replaced by the Lantern.

Olio and Aceto.

All of these were among my most favorite at the Weathervane— from top left— asparagus and pork belly (possibly my first pork either), pheasant and grilled vegetables (to this day the only time I’ve had them in a restaurant. I have ordered and cooked a couple myself.), there chef salads were amazing as were all their soups, and finally their catfish dish.

Provence and Mosaic

Provence’s beignets were addictive and the among the best in the area.
